My dramaturgy practice emerged from working with writers on new and debut plays as a director. I then started working as a scriptreader, as well as offering dramaturgical support through the writing, workshopping and rehearsal process.

I have been a reader for theatres and awards including Paines Plough, the Royal Court, Bush Theatre, Soho Theatre, the Women’s Prize for Playwrighting and the Bruntwood Prize, and I am a visiting lecturer on MA Dramaturgy at Birkbeck. I am currently the New Work Manager at Birmingham Hippodrome, where I lead several artist development programmes for writers and theatremakers as well as offering dramaturgical support.
